How did you find out about alexythemia? 

I have it, and my doctor sent me information on it along with an online test. 

You shaved your head right? 

Yes, I donated my hair to children with cancer in grade 7. 

Why didn’t you wear a wig? You looked like a guy. 

I know I did not (and still do not) look good when I shaved my head. I know I looked like a guy. When you have cancer, you can’t chose to lose your hair or not. The treatment determines that. Can you imagine having to deal with being bald and having a disease ravage your body, with the only cure being poison? The pain I went through because of my appearance was nothing in comparison to something like that.
